Who needs speech therapy?

Individuals who may require speech language pathology services consist of, but are not limited to, individuals (children and adults) who suffer from speech sound disorders, language disorders, hearing impairments, voice disorders, fluency disorders, cognitive impairments, apraxia of speech, traumatic brain injury, autism, cleft lip/palate, foreign accent, tongue thrust, etc.

Does my child need speech therapy?

It is difficult to determine if your child needs therapy without an overall observation of his or her abilities and difficulties. In order to determine if your child needs speech therapy, contact us for an Initial Assessment.

How long will therapy last?

It is difficult to determine the exact amount of time an individual will require therapy. This will depend on many factors. However, my goal is to always push individuals through therapy as quickly as possible. The faster they are successful in their communicative abilities, the faster the will be successful in other areas of their lives.

What if my child is already receiving services elsewhere?

This is not a problem. We serve many children who are also receiving services under the National Health Service (NHS) or at schools and we can collaborate with other therapists to work towards a common goal. The more therapy an individual receives the faster progress the individual will make.

How can I pay for the therapy services?

We accept cash, bank transfer, M-PESA or debit/credit card for payment. You also have the ability to pay one session at a time, or pay a monthly fee for services.
