Meet Chandni, the principal therapist at Tiny Talk Speech & Language Therapy.  Chandni believes that human communication is the most important aspect of our lives, and as such her career is a passion for her rather than a job.  Chandni prides herself in establishing excellent rapport and connection with the clients she sees, believing that any child's progress is accelerated when they have a positive relationship with their therapist.  Chandni is driven towards providing a holistic approach towards her client's needs, where the parents are the 'expert' in their child's development and therefore need to be involved in their child's therapy.  She tends to work closely with schools/other professionals involved in her client's life so that therapeutic strategies are incorporated in all aspects of the child's life, ensuring maximum progress.  Chandni holds a first class Bachelor's (Bsc.) degree in Psychology from City University London which has given her excellent developmental and cognitive knowledge of children.  She has since graduated with a first class Master's qualification (Msc.) in Speech & Language Therapy also from City University London, which has trained her in the latest therapy techniques in the field.

Chandni has provided therapy to clients with various communication disorders including (but not limited to) speech sound disorders, developmental language delay, autism spectrum disorder, expressive language disorder, cognitive impairments, attention and listening difficulties and hearing impairment.  Chandni has a particular interest in expressive language delays which occur in bilingual children and continues with her continual professional development courses to ensure she is well versed in the new therapy techniques.  Chandni has extensive experience working both in the National Health Service (NHS) and in the private sector and is published in the International Journal of Language and Communication Disorders. She has now branched out to Nairobi, Kenya to help facilitate support within the field.

For Chandni, her client always comes first, and and due to the budget strain apparent in the current public services, Chandni felt she was not able to provide as effective therapy programs and thus decided to venture out on her own to ensure maximum client progress and satisfaction.
